WASHING WASTEWATER TREATMENT
Case Study 02
Overview
An LPG filling and storage company wastewater treatment plant in Klang, Selangor, received a sudden high load of contaminants causing upset to their wastewater treatment plant, from their high COD (9500mg/l), high TSS (151mg/l) and color (7028mg/l). The company has the responsibility to treat the wastewater to meet the Malaysian Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations Standard B. Typically, plant upsets would require quick and swift solutions to eliminate the high impact on the plant processes. A portable effluent treatment skid is a practical and economically viable option, saving them in terms of cost and time, as well as on the footprint required for the system.
